About Us
Mission Statement
Blessed Sacrament Homeschool Group (BSHG) is a volunteer-run organization made up of Catholic families living in the greater Memphis area who are dedicated to the home education of their children. BSHG hosts a centralized communication network that supports these families in their homeschooling endeavors. The group facilitates the exchange of educational ideas and materials, as well as information about social opportunities, field trips and group activities. In the spirit of ecumenism, we welcome families of other faiths who are respectful of our Catholic beliefs.
Who We Are
Welcome to the Blessed Sacrament Homeschool Group. We are a Catholic homeschool support group that has members in the Memphis, TN metro area, including North Mississippi, Eastern Arkansas, and other parts of West Tennessee.
We started in 1992 with four families, and have since grown many more member families.
We meet for field trips, Mothers' Nights Out, park days, and other activities as determined by the needs and abilities of our membership.
We seek to support one another in our mission as homeschooling families seeking to provide our children with a rich Catholic education, as discerned by the parents in conversation with their pastor.
We have a rotating Admin Team. There is a low membership fee to join, and we invite you to learn more by filling our Contact Us form below. Registration is handled privately, and we invite you to meet and speak with one of our members.
