About Us
Mission Statement
The Blessed Sacrament Homeschool Group (BSHG) is dedicated to the education of our children based on the teachings of the Roman Catholic Church. BSHG supports and defends the Truths of the Faith as established by the Authority of the Magisterium, which interprets Sacred Scripture and Tradition. In the spirit of ecumenism, we welcome families of other faiths who are respectful of our Catholic beliefs and striving to be sanctified in Truth.
Who We Are
Welcome to the Blessed Sacrament Homeschool Group. We are a Catholic homeschool support group that has members in the Memphis, TN metro area, including North Mississippi, Eastern Arkansas, and other parts of West Tennessee.
We started in 1992 with four families, and have since grown many more member families.
We meet for field trips, Mothers' Nights Out, park days, and other activities as determined by the needs and abilities of our membership.
We seek to support one another in our mission as homeschooling families seeking to provide our children with a rich Catholic education, as discerned by the parents in conversation with their pastor.
We have a rotating Admin Team. There is a low membership fee to join, and we invite you to learn more by filling our Contact Us form below. Registration is handled privately, and we invite you to meet and speak with one of our members.

Please contact us if we can help you. Our group activities are led based on individual family interests! We attend Mass together, have field trips, and welcoming Moms' Nights Out in our homes. We have friendly members who share ideas and build friendships through these and various other activities. We are spread out across the area, so there is sure to be someone who lives near you, and the children in our group are of all ages. God bless you as you discern your path for educating your family.
